Historic Flooding Leaves Mark on Klein Area

With Cypress Creek overflowing its banks to record levels, it required Klein VFD combined with other agencies to evacuate residents from flooded areas in norhtwest Harris County. 

One of the many rescue efforts was at the Atria Cypresswood assisted living facility in the 6600 block of Cypresswood Dr.  Rescures worked to free at least 50 residents and staff members who became trapped inside the facility after Monday's flood.  Residents were taken to Champions Forest Baptist Church at 15555 Stuebner Airline.
